Superisys IACM-P4 series industrial gateway is an RFID controller that provides standard industrial bus protocols and supports ProfiNet, EtherCAT, and Ethernet/IP protocols. It includes two M12 T-CODE power supply interfaces, two M12 D-CODE 4-PIN bus interfaces, and four M12 A-CODE RFID read/write head interfaces. The industrial Ethernet transmission rate supports up to 100Mbps, and multiple bus modules can be cascaded to the PLC, providing powerful on-site data collection capabilities. The shell is made of lightweight and sturdy engineering plastics, with the characteristics of wide connection range, strong communication capabilities, good environmental adaptability, and high protection level.
Withing following highlight:
1. Can connect 4 RFID read/write heads at the same time for independent operation;
2. Support ProfiNet, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP protocols;
3. IP67 protection level, can adapt to harsh working conditions such as oil, dust, moisture, etc.;
4. Dual network ports, integrated switch function, can form star network and tree network;
5. Power input with reverse connection protection and 3000W surge protection, RFID port with anti-reverse connection and overvoltage and overcurrent protection.
The main components of the RFID architecture system are as follows:
The controller (PLC) sends commands to control the read/write head to operate;
The gateway bus controller PLC communicates with the gateway bus controller to indirectly control the read/write head;
The read/write head (UHF/HF) obtains the controller's command and performs read/write data operations on the tag carrier;
The tag carrier (UHF/HF) is the carrier that stores data. The data storage area is divided as follows: the high-frequency tag carrier has a UID area (usually only 8 bytes/read-only and unique) and a USER area (the actual memory size varies depending on the type of the tag carrier/readable and writable);
