Bus Module: As a standalone network slave, it communicates with the PLC via mainstream industrial Ethernet protocols such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT, or fieldbuses such as PROFIBUS-DP. Only one communication cable is needed to transmit data from all 32 channels.
IP20 Rating: Clearly indicates that it must be installed in a protected control cabinet, electrical box, or electrical room. It cannot withstand direct intrusion of dust, liquids, and moisture, but this also makes it significantly less expensive than a comparable IP67 field module.

It collects signals from all fixture sensors and safety light curtains at that workstation and controls tightening guns, glue applicators, indicator lights, etc. The workstation becomes an independently debuggable and replicable intelligent unit.
