Error Prevention and Traceability in Automated Assembly Lines
Scenario: Automated assembly lines for automotive engines, transmissions, or 3C products (such as mobile phone motherboards).
Implementation:
Implant labels into specific grooves in precision fixtures or trays carrying workpieces.
Embeddling the reader at fixed points in multiple critical workstations (such as tightening, gluing, pressing, and inspection stations), ensuring precise alignment of its reading surface with the label on the fixture.
Workflow:
Once the fixture moves to the workstation and is precisely positioned, the reader automatically reads the fixture label, obtaining the unique serial number and assembly instructions for the current product.
Based on this, the system automatically switches the robot program, the torque formula of the tightening gun, or the path parameters of the dispensing machine, ensuring "one item, one parameter".
Upon completion of assembly or testing, a success signal is received, the reader's green light illuminates, and the fixture is released; if an error occurs (such as missing parts), a red light illuminates, and the production line is locked.
